“Waiting” is a short thriller in the vain of a Stephen King story centered on Lana, a young woman

returning to her childhood home on the day before the Earth is destroyed at the hands of a solar flare.

This tense and thought provoking piece follows the somber pacing of the nostalgic character as she

remembers every detail of her lost childhood, and reminds of what things are important to us in the

face of the end.

Being the second in the two-part Peppermint Doublefeature, this installment signifies the dramatic half of the coin. Same Crew, same cast, different plot, and different emotions come to fruition in this. This duo, entitled “The Peppermint DoubleFeature” will be comprised of this 15 minute comedy short, and a 15 minute drama named “Waiting” that is to be screened directly following. With a big goal being that both films feature the exact same actors but in completely different roles, this double feature follows the all but new greek drama theory of comedies coupled with tragedies.
